A transaction is a group of one or more tickets. A transaction can only have ONE main ticket, but there is no limit to the number of partial tickets. The bundling rules can be found in Bundling.
Transactions have the following structure:
- Main Ticket: this is the ticket that contains the service or material.
- (Optional) Additional tickets (one or more) that incur billing for the same trip.
Example 1:
- #57 delivery
- Wait time at jobsite
Example 2:
- Truck Rental
- Dump fee ticket
- Dump fee ticket
- Dump fee ticket
Example 3:
- RC-6 delivery
A single truck with the above tickets would have a ticket count of 7 but a transaction count of 3.
